Responsibilities
- Prioritize patient calls using clinical judgment and established protocols
- Assess symptoms via phone triage to determine appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
