Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings across Honolulu
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocols
- Monitor and document patient vitals, progress, and treatment responses
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Adhere to hospital policies, OSHA standards, and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in shift handoffs and care coordination meetings
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Hawaii or compact state (must obtain HI license)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in assigned specialty
- BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC required for specialty units
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check, drug screening, and skills validation
