Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Adhere to hospital policies, JCAHO standards, and state regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and unit-based quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain via compact)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (required)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in rotating schedules
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
- Pass background and drug screening
