Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and errands for clients
- Document care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of home health aide or caregiving experience
- Current Tennessee Home Health Aide certification
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for vulnerable populations
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for remote documentation
