Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care according to hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and symptoms closely, documenting all findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently, ensuring proper dosage and patient safety checks.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control guidelines at all times.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, demonstrating critical thinking and rapid response skills.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Texas or a compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in the relevant specialty (Med-Surg, ICU, etc.).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; other certifications (PALS, CCRN) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to start date.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to new environments quickly.
- Valid US work authorization.
