Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific standards
- Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
- Precept and mentor new staff as assigned
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license or compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Valid US passport and driver's license
