Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues, symptoms, and medical histories to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to therapy, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
