Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the United States
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications may be needed)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and passion for travel nursing
