Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families
- Adapt quickly to new environments and healthcare systems
- Participate in emergency response and critical care procedures
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the United States or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to new assignments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
