Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care in ICU/ER/Telemetry units
- Implement evidence-based clinical protocols and patient assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
- Educate patients/families on post-discharge care plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
- 2+ years recent ICU/ER experience
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
