Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases based on urgency using established protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to gather accurate medical history
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient interactions and triage decisions in our EMR system
- Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up care recommendations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
