Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities and medical histories accurately and timely.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing for the state of Arizona (or compact state).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification if working in a pediatric unit.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different facility cultures and shifts.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
