Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with compassion and clinical excellence
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess conditions, and document accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Participate in unit activities including shift reports, quality initiatives, and staff development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact state with ability to obtain Missouri licensure
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU, ER, or Med-Surg
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
