Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical specialty (ICU, ER, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and JCAHO standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and patient education initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications per unit)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and adaptable to new environments
