Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical-surgical units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
- Provide patient education on health management and discharge planning
- Adapt quickly to different hospital workflows and unit cultures
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license or ability to obtain immediately
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and adaptability to new environments
