Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings, including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg departments
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care
- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in emergency response situations and code activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certifications as needed
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to new environments quickly
- Pass background check and drug screening
