Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, Telemetry, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear communication channels
- Adhere to hospital policies, state regulations, and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for pediatrics)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication abilities
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
