Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical specialties (MedSurg, ICU, ER, Telemetry)
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards (JCAHO, HIPAA)
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in specialty area
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry or ICU experience preferred for advanced roles
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
