Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, urgent care centers, and specialty clinics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Document patient assessments and care progress accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in emergency response procedures and rapid assessment protocols
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with relevant experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for specialty roles)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
