Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg departments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and compassion
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate medication administration records and inventory management
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with additional experience)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
