Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings across Fort Worth's top medical facilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards and facility protocols
- Provide patient education to promote health maintenance and disease prevention
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in telemetry/ICU settings
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within teams
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments with optional extensions
