Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and history taking.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to critical changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Perform and document accurate patient assessments, ensuring all medical records are up-to-date.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active unencumbered RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care or specialty nursing experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
