Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to emergency situations swiftly and effectively, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, strictly adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of New Mexico.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience accepted.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in the relevant specialty.
- Willingness to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
