Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care and procedures.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Maryland (or compact state).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical-surgical or specialty setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
