Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through interviews, physical exams, and review of medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patient.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and care instructions.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty setting (ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, etc.).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings.
