Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all changes accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed providers.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations with a calm, professional demeanor.
- Assist in patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience (Med-Surg, ICU, or ER preferred).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a high-volume team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
