Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs and medical history.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider care team.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient charts and documentation.
- Ensure the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and their families.
- Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Kentucky (or compact state license).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
