Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, documenting all procedures and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care management strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to enhance clinical practices.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes and clinical demands.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining current licensure and certifications.
