Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to therapy, documenting all findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred for Telemetry/Cardiac units).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and high patient volumes.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Current PPD/TB test or chest X-ray within the last year.
