Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical specialty (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, etc.)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to physicians
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and patient education initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- EMR proficiency (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments
- Positive attitude and teamwork orientation
- COVID-19 vaccination verification required
