Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the charge nurse or provider immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings.
