Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status by gathering relevant data and history.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee or a Compact state.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive mentorship environment.
