Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units based on facility needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with rapid intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific standards
- Participate in shift handovers and care coordination activities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TN preferred for ICU roles
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Valid Texas driver's license for local housing arrangements
