Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and compassion
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
- Adhere to facility protocols, state regulations, and infection control standards
- Provide patient education and support to promote optimal recovery
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Flexibility for 13-week contract assignments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
