Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care environments under preceptor guidance
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards
- Complete required orientation and competency validations
Qualifications
- Recent nursing graduate (within 12 months) or actively enrolled in nursing program
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam and hold active California RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
