Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient charts, vital signs, and care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care instructions.
- Adapt quickly to different unit environments and high-volume patient care settings.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Recent nursing graduate or nursing student graduating within the next 6 months.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
