Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units (ICU, ER, MedSurg) at premier Orlando healthcare facilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient monitoring and consultative services
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with flexible remote documentation options
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and facility-specific protocols while maintaining patient safety
- Participate in orientation and training for new facility systems and procedures
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty unit
- BLS, ACLS, and any specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proficiency in EMR systems with remote documentation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to thrive in hybrid work environments
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules
- Valid US passport and ability to travel within Orlando metro area
- COVID-19 vaccination (unless medically exempt)
