Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Adhere to Alaska-specific healthcare protocols and emergency response procedures
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Participate in our paid training program to master facility-specific workflows
- Provide culturally sensitive care to Alaska's diverse patient population
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Completion of paid training program within first 30 days
- Valid driver's license for facility transportation
