Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain patient safety standards and infection control procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (compact license accepted)
- 1+ years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred for ER/ICU)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- Ability to adapt to new clinical environments quickly
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility for 8-12 hour shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
