Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care in ER/ICU/Step-down units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Assess patient conditions and response to care
- Participate in rapid response activations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards
- Support new staff onboarding when needed
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (compact license acceptable)
- 2+ years recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to adapt to new environments quickly
- Valid CA driver's license
