Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICUs, ERs, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide patient education and support to promote optimal recovery
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and state nursing regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear communication channels
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
