Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Assess patient conditions and respond effectively to emergent situations
- Provide patient and family education to promote health and recovery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass background check and health screening
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
