Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in hospital units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Adapt quickly to new protocols and electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific standards
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- 2+ years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for NICU/PEDS)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
