Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with state licensure and facility protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a medical-surgical, telemetry, or acute care setting.
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments (13-26 weeks typical).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
