Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in high-volume emergency settings
- Utilize triage protocols to determine patient acuity and appropriate care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient education and support to diverse populations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with equivalent experience considered)
- Strong triage assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency highly valued
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
