Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments in emergency settings to determine medical urgency
- Accurately prioritize patients using established triage protocols (ESI, CTAS)
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care coordination
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Provide compassionate patient education during high-stress situations
- Manage critical resources and department workflow during peak hours
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (or obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively
