Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized triage protocols (ESI, ATP)
- Document clinical findings and route patients to appropriate care levels
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on critical cases
- Provide education to patients regarding home care and follow-up
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (WI)
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Triage certification or equivalent training
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
