Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels and prioritize care
- Provide clinical guidance via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Coordinate emergency department resources during high-volume periods
- Educate patients on symptom management and care pathways
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- 3+ years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
