Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with real-time updates
- Provide clear communication to patients/families regarding wait times and care plans
- Monitor departmental flow metrics and implement process improvements
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor new staff on triage procedures and department protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years ED or urgent care experience
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment skills in emergency situations
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- BLS certification maintained
