Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using standardized triage protocols and prioritize care based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Provide education to patients and families regarding emergency procedures
- Maintain efficient patient throughput while ensuring quality care standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
